est le résultat inspiré de beaucoup de voyages de Patricia Spero en Inde. C'est son
hommage à Tansen, qui était l'un des "neuf joyaux" de la Cour du roi Akbar au
16ème siècle. La tombe de Tansen à Gwalior est un lieu de pèlerinage pour les
musiciens, et Patricia y a ressenti le calme et l'inspiration maintes fois. Dans "Hommage", Patricia a mêlé le son de la harpe de concert occidentale avec le son distinctif de la harpe indienne et d'autres instruments orientaux. L'inspiration de Patricia dans ces "expériences du coeur" transportent l'auditeur dans un monde sonore qui a toute la couleur et la splendeur de l'Inde. |

is the inspired result of Patricia's many extended trips to India. This is her homage to Tansen, one of the greatest Indian musicians, who was one of the "nine jewels" of the 16th Century court of King Akbar. Tansen's tomb at Gwalior is a place of pilgrimage for musicians and Patricia has experienced its sense od calm and inspiration many times. In "Homage", Patricia has blended the sound of the Western Concert Harp with the distinct sound of authentic Indian Harp and other Eastern instruments. Patricia's inspiration and immersion in her heart-felt experiences are conveyed to the listener in an intriguing recording that captures all the colour and splendour of India. |
